About Us

Founded in 2009, the company Trans Acreana began its activity in school transport in the cities of Acrelândia and Rio Branco, in 2012 it already carried out local charters and tourist trips.


In 2013, it was the year of its consolidation in road transport, taking over the two largest lines in the State Rio Branco and Cruzeiro do Sul, and also Rio Branco x Assis Brasil. Serious and committed work made the company grow, helping to bring development to the entire state of Acre.


In 2019, it was awarded the 1st interstate line connecting Acre to Amazonas in the city of Boca do Acre.


In 2020, consolidation and international recognition came with the acquisition of two international lines, Rio Branco x Puerto Maldonado-Peru and Rio de Janeiro x Lima-Peru, this line is listed in the Guinness Book as the longest line in the world, 6300km around 125 hours of route, connecting the two wonders of the world Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro and the Inca city Machu Pichu in Cusco Peru.


Today, Trans Acreana has a fleet of more than 50 buses and is considered a model company in Acre and is proud to be part of the history of its state.

Biography Fernando Lourenço

In 1999, Fernando Lourenço reached the age of majority and went to Campinas, where he spent five years in the Brazilian Armed Forces. Soon after, he began studying administration in São Paulo and has always had a knack for business.


A trip to see his family would change the course of his professional career. “I remember seeing my sisters and other children going to school on top of trucks. From then on, I decided to look for alternatives to improve transport conditions in the region”, he recalls. In 2004, he saw the opportunity to buy two buses, invested what he had and literally hit the road. He was a driver and, initially, managed to charter his buses in the city of Boca do Acre in the state of Amazonas.


Time passed and other opportunities emerged. Always ahead of his time, Lourenço did not let any of them pass. “A lot of work, dedication! To get here I passed through all sectors of Trans Acreana. I know, from end to end, the steps that lead to the success of a transport company. From changing a tire, to managing a large company like ours”, he is proud.


At 42 years old, he took a big step in his successful career. “The line that connects Rio de Janeiro to Peru is the longest in the world by land. We are ready to provide safety and comfort to Brazilian and Peruvian passengers.”
