Biography of Fernando Lourenço
In 1999, Fernando Lourenço reached adulthood and moved to Campinas, where he spent five years with the Brazilian Armed Forces. Afterwards, he began studying management in São Paulo and always had a knack for business.
A trip to visit his family would change the course of his professional path. "I remember seeing my sisters and other children going to school on the back of trucks. From there, I decided to look for alternatives to improve the region's transport conditions," he recalls. In 2004, he saw an opportunity in purchasing two buses, invested everything he had, and literally hit the road. He started as a driver and initially managed to charter his buses in the city of Boca do Acre in the state of Amazonas.
As time went by, other opportunities arose. Always ahead of his time, Lourenço didn't let any of them pass by. "A lot of work, dedication! To get to where I am today, I went through every department of Trans Acreana. I know, from start to finish, the steps that lead to the success of a transport company. From changing a tyre to managing a large-scale company like ours," he proudly states.
At 42, he took a major step in his successful career. "The route connecting Rio de Janeiro to Peru is the longest in the world by land. We are ready to provide safety and comfort to Brazilian and Peruvian passengers."
