About Us

Founded in 2009, Trans Acreana started its operations in school transportation in the cities of Acrelândia and Rio Branco. By 2012, it had already expanded to local charters and tourist trips.

In 2013, the company consolidated its presence in road transportation by taking on the two largest routes in the state: Rio Branco X Cruzeiro do Sul x Rio Branco, serving the municipalities of Rio Branco, Bujari, Sena Madureira, Manoel Urbano, Feijó, Tarauacá, Rodrigues Alves, and Cruzeiro do Sul, as well as Rio Branco x Assis Brasil. The company's dedicated and committed work has contributed to its growth and has helped bring development to the entire state of Acre.

In 2019, Trans Acreana was awarded its first interstate line, connecting Acre to Amazonas in the city of Boca do Acre.

In 2020, the company achieved consolidation and international recognition with the acquisition of two international routes: Rio Branco x Puerto Maldonado-Peru and Rio de Janeiro x Lima-Peru. This route is listed in the Guinness Book as the longest line in the world at 6,300 km, taking approximately 125 hours, connecting two world wonders: Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro and the Inca city Machu Picchu in Cusco, Peru.

Today, Trans Acreana boasts a fleet of over 50 buses and is considered a model company in Acre, proud to be part of the state’s history.

Fernando Lourenço's Biography

In 1999, Fernando Lourenço came of age and moved to Campinas, where he spent five years in the Brazilian Armed Forces. Following that, he began studying business administration in São Paulo and always had a knack for business.

A trip to visit family would change the course of his professional path. “I remember seeing my sisters and other children going to school on top of trucks. From there, I decided to seek alternatives to improve the region's transportation conditions,” he recalls. In 2004, he saw an opportunity by purchasing two buses, invested everything he had, and literally hit the road. He was a driver and initially managed to charter his buses in the city of Boca do Acre in the state of Amazonas.

As time passed, other opportunities arose. Always ahead of his time, Lourenço didn't let any pass by. “A lot of work, dedication! To get here, I went through all the sectors of Trans Acreana. I know, from end to end, the stages that lead to the success of a transportation company. From changing a tire to managing a large-scale company like ours,” he proudly states.

At 42, he took a significant step in his successful career. “The route linking Rio de Janeiro to Peru is the longest overland route in the world. We are ready to provide safety and comfort to Brazilian and Peruvian passengers.”
